Seminar Description:
The #1 most frequently cited deficiency on annual surveys in Massachusetts is F880 Infection Control with 43.8% of nursing facilities cited in 2024. This “Back to Basics: Infection Control 101” workshop series will provide an overview of essential infection control practices, including hand hygiene, appropriate PPE use, isolation precautions, and environmental cleaning. Each session focuses on practical strategies, real-world applications, and expert guidance to improve compliance and strengthen infection prevention efforts in nursing facilities.

Objective:
- To equip front-line staff with fundamental infection prevention knowledge and skills to reduce the spread of infections, improve patient safety, and maintain survey readiness.
