On Monday, the Joint Committee on Public Health and Joint Committee on Elder Affairs held a five-hour long informational hearing on Alzheimer’s and other dementia diseases. Ten panels were invited to present testimony to the Committees including officials from the Dept. of Public Health, Executive Office of Elder Affairs, Alzheimer’s Association, researchers, individuals and their families living with dementia, and health care providers.
