Mass Senior Care is encouraging nursing facility staff, residents, family members and vendors to join us for State House Visibility Day on Tuesday, March 24th at 11:00am which will coincide with the Joint Committee on Way and Means Budget hearing at Gardner Auditorium in the Massachusetts State House. We need the strong and united presence of the nursing facility community to urge the Legislature to support Mass Senior Care’s FY 2021 “Fix It” budget proposal in order to modernize MassHealth’s broken reimbursement system so that it reflects the true cost of caring for our most vulnerable residents.
We encourage each provider and Associate member to:
- JOIN US for State House Visibility Day on March 24th at 11:00 a.m.
We need a strong presence for State House Visibility Day, please RSVP and let us know if you plan to attend.
- VISIT your State Representative and State Senator while you are at the State House
Mass Senior Care staff will provide you with materials and talking points. If you need your legislators’ information or assistance with scheduling meetings, please contact Jennifer Chen.
- ATTEND and show your support at the Ways and Means Budget Hearing
We will distribute campaign tee-shirts when you arrive at the State House.
