In regard to the annual renewals that are now occurring as part of the PHE unwinding, we continue to encourage members to take steps to ensure that your Medicaid residents do not have a lapse in coverage during this redetermination process. MassHealth will mail renewals in blue envelopes based upon the member’s unique annual renewal date. When a member residing in a long term care facility receives the blue envelope in the mail, they will need to complete the MassHealth LTC Eligibility Review Form. As per MassHealth Eligibility Operations Memo 23-09, members must respond to renewal notices within 90 days and respond to follow-up requests. Please click here to review additional steps facilities can take to ensure there is no lapse in MassHealth coverage during the renewal process.
