The Boston Globe’s 19th annual special section will launch on Globe.com on May 6, in observance of National Nurses Day, and publish in the May 8 issue of The Boston Sunday Globe.
This special section celebrates the frontline workers who’ve gone above and beyond this past year to ensure the health of their patients and their families in times of need. The section will feature letters from patients and families giving thanks to special nurses in their lives, as well as articles celebrating the heroes who give so much of themselves, day in and day out, to ensure the community is cared for in times of need.
Nominations are now open and patients, their families, and nurses may now nominate a nurse who they feel deserves recognition by clicking this link. The deadline to nominate is March 20.
