Strategies to Meet LTC Facility’s Workforce Needs

To assist members in meeting their ongoing workforce needs and complying with the Commonwealth’s newly established staffing standard of 3.58 hours per patient day (HPPD), Mass Senior Care will be hosting a workforce webinar on January 28th from 10:00am – 11:00am. Learn about key strategies for recruiting and retaining direct care staff during a pandemic, understand the role of Resident Care Assistants, update on the latest enhancements of the State’s LTC Staffing Portal 3.0, and how to establish a CNA talent pipeline in your long-term care facility. Presenters include Amy Bianco, Manager of Health Policy and Strategic Initiatives, Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services; Tara M. Gregorio, President, Massachusetts Senior Care Association, and Rebekah Lashman, Workforce Consultant, Massachusetts Senior Care Foundation.
Virtual MDS 3.0 3-Day Competency Program (CHHi-MDS)*
