CNA’s working in Massachusetts nursing facilities and assisted living residences will soon be required to be CPR/AED certified within three months of employment, while existing CNAs must be certified by Spring 2027. To assist members and their staff in meeting this new requirement, MSCA is hosting “Preparing Your Facility for Mandated CNA CPR Certification” webinar that will outline the regulation, share information and resources to ensure compliance, and learn from three member organizations who are successfully utilizing three different training models/partnerships to assist their staff with obtaining CPR certification.
Program Objectives:
Webinar participants will understand:
•The scope of the proposed regulation.
•Various approaches to CPR training to help you determine the process most closely aligned with the needs of your facility.
•Practical experience of three Member organizations.

The Massachusetts Senior Care Association has qualified for “deemed status #NH-09015-007” from the Board of Registration of Nursing Home Administrators for Administrators. This program also meets continuing education requirements for Nurses in Massachusetts. All paid attendees will receive a certificate of attendance.
Cancellation Policy:
Mass Senior Care must be notified in writing no later than 48 hours prior to the start of the seminar for a refund, minus a $25 processing fee, which will be refunded in the manner in which the payment was made. “No Show” attendees will be billed at the full registration fee.
