Since 1985, the Mass Senior Care Foundation has raised over $3,000,000 to support older adults, individuals with disabilities, and their caregivers by advancing initiatives that enhance dignity, support, and quality care. In partnership with the Mass Senior Care Association, the Foundation is focusing resources on stabilizing and revitalizing nursing facility leadership by attracting new talent to the profession, while also addressing frontline workforce shortages through stronger recruitment, retention, and career ladder opportunities.
The Foundation also supports a new Quality Improvement Initiative aimed at improving resident care and outcomes by establishing programs to reduce avoidable hospitalizations, antipsychotic medication use, and fall-related injuries. This work also includes best-practice workforce retention strategies to strengthen resident well-being through a stable and skilled workforce. Together, we can continue to nurture a culture of continuous quality improvement and provide essential support for our dedicated staff.
Please join us for Giving Tuesday on December 2nd to help enhance quality resident care and support the compassionate caregivers who make a difference in our residents’ lives every day. Thank you for supporting the Mass Senior Care Foundation.
