Seminar Description:
Join Mass Senior Care and the Department of Public Health for an interactive workshop that will guide participants through strategies to prevent and mitigate Immediate Jeopardy (IJ) citations by applying the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) framework. Participants will examine common factors contributing to IJ findings, review case examples, and learn how data-driven QAPI initiatives can strengthen systems of care, enhance compliance, and sustain survey readiness. The session emphasizes a proactive, interdisciplinary approach to identifying risk areas, implementing corrective actions, and embedding a culture of continuous quality improvement to ensure resident safety and regulatory compliance.
