EOHHS has posted on its website its DCC-Q report for the July 2024 through June 2025 period. EOHHS implemented the Direct Care Cost Quotient (DCC-Q) measure in October 2020 as a replacement for the previous direct care add on reporting, requiring facilities to spend no less than 75% of total adjusted revenue on direct care staff through the DCC-Q.
It is important to note that EOHHS, in its Medicaid Nursing Facility Rate Year 2026 rate regulation, has revised the timeline schedule for the filing of the next Final and Interim DCC-Q reports as follows:
- Final Filing: March 1, 2026 Due Date for Final Filing for Calendar Year 2025 costs – To be used in RY27 Rate/Oct 2026); and
- Interim Filing: July 31, 2026 Due Date for Interim Filing for 1st Half CY26.
