
The American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) has announced the 2025 Bronze – Commitment in Quality Award recipients. MSCA is proud to recognize 26 member facilities that have earned this achievement.
“We are grateful to all caregivers and staff for their dedication to providing vital care to residents living in the long term and post-acute care communities we serve,” said Tara Gregorio, President of the Massachusetts Senior Care Association. “We applaud these facilities for their achievement and continued commitment to quality resident care.”
The Bronze National Quality Award is the first of three levels in the AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program, a comprehensive organizational assessment and recognition program for long term care providers. Each application is reviewed and judged against a set of nationally recognized standards for achieving excellence. The award honors skilled nursing and post-acute care facilities across the nation that have demonstrated their commitment to improving quality care for older adults and individuals with disabilities.

These 26 skilled nursing facilities and assisted living residences are among 486 skilled nursing facilities (SNF), 129 assisted living (AL) communities, and 38 combined SNF/AL providers in 46 states that earned the Bronze Award this year. "Starting the Quality Award journey is about more than recognition—it’s about building a culture that puts quality first,” said Cathy Bergland, AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Board Chair. “Congratulations to each recipient for embracing that commitment and setting the stage for continued success.”
The 2025 National Quality Award Recipients will be recognized during the Elevating Excellence Awards Ceremony at AHCA/NCAL’s Convention & Expo: Delivering Solutions 25, in Las Vegas, NV on Tuesday, October 21, 2025.
