CMS issued the following note acknowledging that access to the reporting of the annual National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) Influenza Vaccination among Healthcare Personnel data was not available for a short time on the original due date of May 15th and, therefore, has extended the deadline for reporting this information to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention NHSN to today, Friday, May 23, 2025, at 11:59 PM ET.
Note: This extension does NOT apply to the following assessment data:
- IRF Patient Assessment Instrument (IRF-PAI),
- LTCH Continuity Assessment Record and Evaluation (CARE) Data Set (LCDS)
- Minimum Data Set (MDS)
Submission Reminders: Providers are recommended to run applicable Internet Quality Improvement and Evaluation System (iQIES)/NHSN analysis reports prior to each quarterly reporting deadline, to ensure that all required data has been successfully submitted.
