Minimum Data Set (MDS) Section S is reserved for state specific items. These changes include additional questions to collect important information regarding Opioid Use Disorder and the use of psychotropic medications. Effective October 1, 2023, Medicare and Medicaid certified facilities will be required to complete the questions per the updated directions.
