Mass Senior Care Association has collaborated with Jonathan Gruber, Ford Director of Economics at MIT, to develop a Long Term Care Career Advancement Survey. The purpose of this survey is to help us quantify the level of interest in career advancement among CNAs, and perceived barriers to advancement they may need assistance to overcome. Responses to this survey will provide MSCA with critical data needed to promote public policy and identify funding opportunities focused on career advancement of CNAs. This is vital to addressing the long term care sector’s historic workforce shortages and create greater opportunities and better jobs for frontline staff.
Please disseminate this survey and encourage your CNAs to respond by August 5. To help facilitate an easy process, we have created the enclosed flyer that can be posted in breakrooms, bulletin boards, time clocks or other areas of high employee visibility. All CNAs need to do is scan the QR code with their smart phone and it will take them directly to the survey. All surveys are anonymous, and data will be reported in the aggregate only.
