The focus for most nursing facilities has been on infection control and caring for residents with COVID-19 and keeping residents and staff safe. Now that COVID-19 infections have decreased and annual surveys have resumed, nursing facilities should be prepared for when DPH surveyors show up at your door.
This presentation will be a refresher on the annual survey process and will include a review of clinical pathways of focused areas, strategies, and best practices to prepare for surveys.
