Job Description
Who we are: NEPC (New England Pediatric Care) is a one-of-a-kind resource that provides specialized around the clock care to children and young adults with complex medical and educational needs. We are looking for a motivated, creative and responsible/reliable individual who is committed to effectively serving as the facility’s Payroll Coordinator. At NEPC we care for children, families and each other.
Responsibilities:
• Provide operational and administrative support to the administration and employees of NEPC
• Daily maintenance of a Kronos payroll system: entering new employees, issuing time cards, and updating employee information, benefits enrollments, etc.
• Responsible for the preparation of weekly payroll
• Coordinate with managers, using time tracking tools, to ensure accuracy
• Completing and distributing reports as needed
• Provide frequent management and employee support regarding payroll, benefits, scheduling, workers compensation, LOA and coordinating benefit communications and Open Enrollment meetings
• Assist employees with benefits introduction during general facility portion of new-hire orientation
• Complete employment and payroll verifications
• Organize all employee records
• Assist with the coordination of on-site trainings and information as needed
• Reports directly to Business Office Manager
Qualifications:
• Must hold a High School diploma with preferred candidate having an Associate’s degree or higher in related field or at least 3 years relevant experience in the nursing home and payroll processing/benefits management field
• Excellent communicator with interpersonal skills is essential to the success of this position
• Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and strong organizational skills
