  • Mass Senior Care Stays Focused on FY2021 Budget
January 9, 2020

Governor Charlie Baker’s FY 2021 budget recommendation is expected to be issued on January 22nd. Mass Senior Care is encouraging members to contact Governor Baker urging him to close the nursing facility funding gap in the FY 2021 budget.  To send a message to Governor Baker, please take action here. So far, over 700 emails have been sent to Governor Baker. It is our goal to have 1,000 emails to the Governor by tomorrow.

As a critical part of our ongoing advocacy efforts, please join us on January 30th for Mass Senior Care's Advocacy Kick-Off Event at the Massachusetts State House. To continue building on FY 2020’s success, it is critically important that Governor Baker and lawmakers hears the united voice of the nursing facility community on the need to fund vital nursing facility services in order to invest in resident care and our dedicated workforce. We look forward to seeing you on January 30th and thank you for your continued advocacy and involvement to protect quality care for your residents.
