Profile of New CEO
The person chosen to lead the Loomis Communities for the future will be expected to build upon the existing strengths of the organization, continuing a tradition of community integration and person-centered culture change, as well as bring a personal vision of excellence to the position.The CEO should possess a broad range of experience in matters of Continuing Care Retirement Communities, skilled nursing care and additional services to seniors.
Search Committee
A 7-member search committee consisting of five current members of the Board of Directors and two professional advisors, with assistance from members of senior management have been appointed to review applications, conduct screening interviews, and recommend a slate of finalists for consideration by the full Board of Directors who will make the final appointment.
Qualifications
We seek an individual with the following qualifications:
An experienced leader, who understands the complex dimensions of aging and is committed to a person-centered culture focused on wellness.
An experienced manager, able to manage a professional staff and who has shown the ability to administer a complex organization and familiar with technology advancements.
An individual with a Bachelor's degree, with a Master's degree or other post-graduate educational background preferred, in healthcare, business, finance or a related discipline, and a minimum of five years of senior leadership experience.
A decisive leader who can advance a decision and manage both support and disagreement during the decision-making process.
A visionary who can identify opportunities and evaluate innovative approaches to address current and future challenges of senior services and elder care.
A comfortable speaker and strong writer who is able to express ideas in a clear and compelling way and evidences a willingness to be appropriately transparent with the Communities’ constituents, including its residents, local officials and the general public.
An individual with demonstrated involvement in civic organizations and activities in his or her current community.
An individual with experience working with non-profit boards.
A person who can demonstrate success at fund raising.
A person with strong financial and budget knowledge.
