  • Tell Governor Baker: Prioritize Nursing Home Funding in FY 2020
January 8, 2019

We urge all nursing facility staff, residents and their family members to contact Governor Charlie Baker and ask him to invest in quality nursing home care in FY 2020!

As you know, Governor Baker will introduce his proposed FY 2020 budget in a few short weeks. This could be our best opportunity to ensure that Governor Baker hears the united voice of the nursing home community on the current financial crisis facing skilled nursing facilities and the critical investments needed to protect quality nursing home care.

We need your help to make ensure the voice of the nursing home community is heard. With over 77,000 employees caring for 150,000 residents and patients, our united voice in the budget process can be an effective one to help finally close the funding gap.

TAKE ACTION TODAY!

Here are several action steps you and your team can take to ensure our voice is heard.

1) EMAIL GOVERNOR BAKER

All you have to do is forward this link (https://p2a.co/KHslYAi) to your team and urge them to send an email to Governor Baker. It will only take two minutes to fill in your information, review the pre-written message and submit the email.

2) SHARE AND SPREAD THE WORD!

Share the campaign with your community to ensure our voice is heard and funding for quality nursing home care is protected!

THANK YOU FOR YOUR ADVOCACY!
