  • X-Waiver Training for Opioid Use Disorder
January 13, 2022

The Boston Medical Center is offering free, virtual X-waiver training in January to February and February to March 2022. for all prescribers regardless if they currently prescribe buprenorphine to treat opioid use disorder (OUD). The training is necessary to prescribe buprenorphine to treat opioid use disorder (OUD) in 30 or more residents. For those who treat fewer than 30 residents, the training is still highly recommended.

This training opportunity is offered by Boston Medical Center Office-Based Addiction Treatment Training and Technical Assistance (BMC OBAT TTA). Through this training, prescribers will gain a deeper understanding of OUD, how to care for residents diagnosed with OUD, and various treatment options for residents with OUD. DPH asks that you post the attached announcement and forward this message to prescribers at your facility. If you have any questions about this training, please contact Conor.Monks@bmc.org.
