  • Work Ready Massachusetts Connects Employers with Work Eligible Migrants
February 8, 2024

Nearly 3,000 people living in the state’s emergency shelter system, many of whom are migrants recently entering Massachusetts, have obtained the work authorizations required for employment. To ensure these candidates are successfully placed in open jobs  Work Ready Massachusetts has been launched. Through this new website, employers in need of talent can enter their contact information, industry, and number of open positions. Work Ready Massachusetts will then connect individuals who are skilled, work authorized, and work ready with employers who have submitted job openings.

Mass Senior Care Association encourages nursing facilities to participate in Work Ready Massachusetts as this is an important source of new employees during this historic workforce shortage.
