Mass Senior Care highly encourages nursing facility members to participate in the following committee meetings:
- Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) Committee
The Opioid Use Disorder Committee focuses on issues facing nursing homes caring for the OUD population. This committee will discuss regulatory concerns, education and training needs, community resources and support to provide high quality care for the OUD Population. Meetings are held virtually on a quarterly basis. The next meeting is scheduled for Monday, November 6, 2023 at 1:00 pm. To register for the meeting click here.
- Clinical & Regulatory Committee
The Clinical & Regulatory Committee focuses on reviewing proposed laws, regulations, guidance, and policies that impact nursing facilities as well as reviewing and analyzing the consistency of compliance actions and regulatory interpretation. The committee also identifies training needs for members as it relates to quality and regulatory and survey issues and provides a clinical perspective on care transitions, readmissions and issues that may relate to reimbursement. Meetings are held virtually on a quarterly basis. The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at 10:30 am. To register for the meeting click here.
