Mass Senior Care has been made aware of some confusion among members related to SUD training of facility direct care staff. While the SUD training is only a requirement for the 72 SUD facilities identified by MassHealth, all other nursing facilities may offer the training to their direct care staff, but are not mandated to do so, at this time.
