On Monday, August 12, residents from MSCA member facilities, Alliance Health at Marina Bay, and Alliance Health at Maples were treated to a dream flight aboard an open-air, two-seater World War II plane! Six veterans had the opportunity to relive their flying days – it was an exciting and emotional experience for everyone involved.
This event truly underscores the importance of connecting seniors with special experiences, as many Life Enrichment or Activities programs at Skilled Nursing Facilities aim to do! Events like this show that nursing homes are not just places for our aging family members and friends to live and stay put, but places where thriving senior adults can experience joy, adventure, and fulfillment. Please read more about this heartwarming experience in the official Press Release from Alliance Health Management Services.
