At Mass Senior Care’s request for the benefit of membership, on August 16th EOHHS issued a Request for Information (RFI) to solicit relevant information from nursing facilities to enable MassHealth to create enhanced rates to serve these populations. Facilities can identify programs for existing special populations that they serve and/or for populations that you would want to create new programs. We are strongly encouraging members to respond to this RFI to inform EOHHS of the resources necessary to care for these special populations, thereby ensuring adequate payment.
