In addition to learning from dynamic speakers addressing issues impacting long term care providers, over 50 sponsors and exhibitors will be at the Trade Show and Luncheon to share the latest products and services, giving you the opportunity to network with these vendors and your colleagues. A post-conference “Thank You LTC Heroes” cocktail reception at Off the Rails restaurant will immediately follow the afternoon session.

Regulatory Compliance and Enforcement – What all Nursing Facilities Should Know!
The Department of Public Health’s Leadership Team will present an overview of the Bureau of Healthcare Safety and Quality, Division of Facility Licensure & Certification organizational structure as well as review the determination of compliance with the CMS Requirements of Participation. DPH will discuss how surveyors identify deficient practices, how multiple deficiencies for the same deficient practice may be cited, determination of scope & severity and possible enforcement actions. In addition, DPH will discuss the review and approval process for submitted plans of correction.
