  • Register Now: The CNA to LPN Pipeline: Steps to Growing Your Own Nurses Webinar
May 26, 2023

To address our historic nursing shortage, it is critically necessary that facilities invest in strategies to grow your own workforce, including upskilling CNAs to become LPNs.  An MSCA career advancement survey of CNAs at member facilities demonstrated that 90% of incumbent CNAs want to advance their careers.  But the jump from CNA to LPN is not easy, and there are many barriers that can interfere along the way. To assist member employers with navigating the roadmap between CNA and LPN, this session will discuss:

  1. MSCAs CNA to LPN pipeline program design
  2. Establishing relationships with LPN programs
  3. Assessing readiness of incumbent CNAs for college level courses
  4. Understanding LPN entrance exams
  5. Flexible scheduling to work during school
  6. Establishing the employee-employer commitment
  7. Intro to the CNA to LPN Toolkit
  8. Q & A

Target Audience: Administrators, Directors of Nursing, Staff Development Coordinators, Human Resources Staff

Wednesday, June 28th
