Congratulations to Notre Dame Long Term Care and Rehabilitation Center which celebrated its 30th anniversary on June 17th. The celebration commemorates the beginning of the first Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur-sponsored healthcare facility where Sisters/religious and lay community members began living together. Celebratory activities included a Catholic Mass of Thanksgiving followed by the presentation of a City of Worcester Citation of Appreciation by City Council member Candy Mero-Carlson. Mayor Joseph Petty also presented the Key to the City to NDHC Board and Sister of Notre Dame de Namur Leadership Team members Sr. Elaine Bain and Sr. Eileen Burns. Residents, families, Board members and staff both past and present shared a meal and many heartwarming stories and memories of 30 wonderful years.
