With the theme of Cultivating Kindness, nursing facilities across the state found creative and fun ways to celebrate National Skilled Nursing Home Week (May 14-20), including box car races, Elvis impersonators, hosting tea parties, planting gardens and donating to local food pantries. This annual celebration is inspired by the many acts of kindness that happen in skilled nursing care centers every day and we thank each and every staff member for providing compassionate, high-quality care to the older adults and individuals with disabilities that are entrusted to your care.
