  • Mass Senior Care Foundation Event Raises $150,000 to Support the Long Term Care Workforce and Quality Resident Care
December 5, 2019

Amidst the historic Carriage House at Gore Place in Waltham, the Mass Senior Care Foundation celebrated its 34th Anniversary of supporting the long term care workforce with a craft beer tasting event. This event provided a fun atmosphere to celebrate the achievements of the Foundation and the opportunity to network with long term care leaders. Mass Senior Care Association Chair Matt Salmon acknowledged the generous support of providers and associate members, and recognized Premier Sponsor CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) and Platinum Sponsor CareOne. Since 1985, the Foundation has awarded nearly $3 million in scholarships, helping over 1,600 people working in long term care facilities to increase their skills and achieve their professional and personal goals.

Thank you to the donors who supported this year’s event and the important work of the Mass Senior Care Foundation.   Proceeds from this year’s event will support the Foundation’s workforce quality initiatives, including a targeted initiative addressing the recruitment and retention challenges faced by providers and the flagship scholarship program.
