  • MA Office for Refugees and Immigrants Launches Help Desk to Assist TPS Holders
July 16, 2026
ORI

The Massachusetts Office for Refugees and Immigrants (ORI) has launched a “HelpDesk” to assist current and former TPS holders, and those who previously applied for TPS, with access to immigration counsel. To assist impacted employees, please share the attached flyers as relevant to the individual, in multiple languages:

Immigration Legal Helpdesk_Haitian Creole

Immigration Legal Helpdesk_English

Immigration Legal Helpdesk_Spanish

Immigration Legal Helpdesk_Portuguese

Employees can assess their eligibility to the Immigration Legal Helpdesk through this Help Desk Form or by emailing ORI-Helpdesk@mass.gov. As a reminder, work authorization for Haiti TPS holders remains in place and will continue until the Supreme Court sends a certified copy of its judgment to the lower court and the federal administration issues implementation guidance. The E-Verify system now lists July 24, 2026 as a placeholder date for termination of employment authorization for Haitian TPS holders. Mass Senior Care will continue to keep members updated. In addition, please continue to monitor USCIS for updates on Haitian TPS.
