To help facilities navigate the Informal Dispute Resolution (IDR) and Independent Informal Dispute Resolution (IIDR) processes, MSCA has developed an IDR/IIDR Tip Sheet to assist providers in preparing accurate and complete submissions. The IDR/IIDR process offers facilities an important opportunity to dispute survey findings when they believe deficiencies have been cited in error. However, incomplete, or inaccurate submissions may result in requests for additional information or rejection of the case altogether. Ensuring that all required documentation and supporting evidence are thorough, accurate, and submitted in accordance with the requirements is essential.
