On October 1, 2019, the new Patient Driven Payment Model (PDPM) will be replacing Resource Utilization Group, Version IV (RUG-IV) for the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Prospective Payment System (PPS). To assist provider members in understanding and implementing this massive system change, Mass Senior Care Association has partnered with the American Health Care Association (AHCA) to offer PDPM Academy, a 10-month training effort offering both in-person training and continuing updates and support.
Mass Senior Care’s PDPM Academy will kick off with a day long in-person training session on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from 8am – 4:30pm at the Boxboro Regency Hotel & Conference Center in Boxboro, MA. Given the significant resources which AHCA has committed to developing the Academy, registration is only available to provider members and corporate organizations who are members of both Mass Senior Care Association and the American Health Care Association. Due to space limitations, we are unable to accommodate Associate Members and consultants at this time..
Provider members who register for the PDPM Academy will have access to:
- PDPM 101 Workshop Webinar;
- One-day in person training session on 1/22/19;
- Monthly workshop webinars on key topics and emerging PDPM issues; and
- How-To webinars on implementing additional AHCA developed tools.
Discounted registration fees are available for multiple registrations from the same provider member/corporate organization.
