Strengthening Long Term Care Workforce Development Partnerships

This webinar, offered by the Massachusetts Senior Care Association and the Mass Workforce Association, will support long term care facilities with developing partnerships with local MassHire Career Centers, and Workforce Boards to help meet facilities’ workforce needs and provide job opportunities for unemployed individuals. The session is designed to provide Mass Senior Care Association members with a foundational understanding of the MassHire system and Mass Hire system members with information about opportunities for employment and advancement in long term care. Participants will hear about current partnerships between MSCA members and MassHire Career Centers and Workforce Boards. Breakout sessions by regions will provide MSCA members and MassHire Career Center and Workforce Board staff an opportunity to meet and discuss shared needs and opportunities. 

Objectives:

  • Understand how to develop partnerships to meet facilities’ workforce needs and provide job opportunities for unemployed individuals
  • Understand how to effectively navigate the MassHire system
  • Identify ways to work with local Workforce Investment Boards

Target Audiences: Administrators, Human Resources Managers, Recruiting Managers, Corporate Staff
