As Labor Day weekend approaches, our member facilities are making every effort to ensure their residents enjoy the last few weeks of warmth and sunshine! We have seen a delightful array of activities; a 1950’s-themed barbecue, an indoor camping trip, water volleyball, and a sunflower carnival! It truly looked like a blast was had at the Bow Tie Day and “Dog Days of Summer” hot dog celebrations, as well as at the Wizard of Oz movie trivia party. We love to see these creative ideas providing a sense of connection and joy, while also promoting physical and emotional well-being among residents. These end-of-summer activities serve as a reminder that even though we will soon be making way for Fall, there will still be plenty more moments of joy and togetherness to look forward to!
