The Massachusetts Department of Family and Medical Leave has issued an update on the Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML) Program: Final Regulations - a copy of the regulations filed with the Secretary of State's office is available on the DFML website. Bond Form and Instructions – If an employer is seeking an exemption from making PFML contributions as a self-insured employer, the employer must complete an exemption application and furnish a bond running to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in an amount based upon the employer's Massachusetts workforce size. The Department has provided a bond form and instructions for completing the form on its website.
