As the FY 2020 Conference Committee continues to work to finalize the state budget, Mass Senior Care urges the nursing facility community to keep up the momentum and please continue to call your state legislators to urge them to contact the budget conferees to support both the House's $35 million in broad-based funding for inflationary increases in resident care and labor costs and the Senate's $15 million in targeted investments. Together both funding programs will begin to address the $362 million annual nursing facility shortfall and the growing financial and workforce crisis.
