As a reminder, the mandatory off-cycle SNF provider enrollment revalidation deadline has been pushed back to August 1, 2025. On Friday, May 9th, the CMS posted updated sub-regulatory guidance addressing a number of frequently asked questions.
The updated sub-regulatory guidance content includes:
- Updating the submission due date in Sections (I)(C) and (D) from May 1, 2025, to August 1, 2025.
- Adding more information in Sections (IV)(B)(1)(ii) and (vi) and (B)(2) on additional disclosable party (ADP) categories.
- Clarifying mortgage interests and real property ownership in Sections (V)(A)(6) and (11).
- Clarifying Section (V)(B)(3) regarding board members.
- Clarifying QA #11 regarding entities that contract with companies to furnish services for the SNF.
- Clarifying effective dates in QA #17.
- Adding new QAs #19 through #29.
