CMS recently released a QSO memo regarding updates to the Civil Money Penalty Reinvestment Program (CMPRP). The memo outlined several updates including:
- Streamlining the application
- Increasing the funding cap
- Allowing technology projects
- Allowing behavioral health projects
- Allowing workforce enhancement projects
- Updates to the project result requirements
- Improvements to the transparency of State Plans
CMS also announced that several resources will be consolidated and will be provided on the CMPRP website by October 6, 2025. For questions regarding the memo or CMPRP, facilities may email CMP-info@cms.hhs.gov.
