The Massachusetts Centers for Health Information and Analysis (CHIA) will be updating its current nursing facility financial performance data dashboard. Similar to last year, nursing facilities will have an opportunity to preview the data prior to CHIA’s posting update. As part of the data review process for 2024, CHIA will be issuing two separate data templates for review: (1) Management Company Report and (2) Full SNF-CR Cost Report Data. Facilities must confirm the accuracy of the data on these templates or request that CHIA re-open their cost report for corrections. We believe that CHIA's transparency data will further validate a sector in crisis and the need for an immediate and significant state investment in quality nursing facility care.
