  • Celebrating Our Heroes: Creativity and Innovation at the Forefront of Providing Resident Centered Care During COVID-19 Outbreak
March 26, 2020

With enhanced visitor restrictions now in place, staff members at long term care communities across the Commonwealth are using creative approaches to keep residents engaged and socially active during this extremely challenging time.  Whether it be playing hallway bingo, window visits, hallway noodle baseball, or virtual visits and hugs, all levels of staff have taken extraordinary efforts to continue providing a safe, healthy and connected community for their residents.

With state and federal guidance continuing to change at a rapid pace, Mass Senior Care Association continues to aggressively advocate for the needs of our long term care residents, staff and providers. This week, we released a public statement outlining the support we need from both the state and federal government to protect our vulnerable residents, click on these links to read the coverage: the Boston Herald and Boston 25 News broadcast.  We encourage you to visit Mass Senior Care’s dedicated page to view our daily COVID-19 updates.

Thank you all for the extraordinary work you do each and every day and know that our number one priority is to provide you with the support and resources necessary to keep our facility staff safe and our residents well cared for.
