  • CDC Data Show 99% of Massachusetts’ Seniors Have Now Received At Least One Dose of the COVID-19 Vaccine
September 16, 2021

Massachusetts is leading the nation in vaccinations - especially when it comes to protecting our older adults. CDC data shows that over 99% of all Massachusetts residents age 65 and older have at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

The Commonwealth’s nursing facility providers are making significant progress in vaccinating staff and residents against the COVID-19 virus. Massachusetts ranks 3rd in the Nation with 81.6% of nursing facility staff fully vaccinated and 12th in the Nation with 90.9% of nursing facility residents fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Click here to see the national charts on nursing facility vaccination. Weekly data from National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) Nursing Home COVID-19 Vaccination Data Dashboard show Massachusetts consistently leads the Nation in vaccination rates. Congratulations to all of our hardworking staff for reaching these tremendous milestones!
