  • Action Alert: Please Ask Your State Representative to Support Amendment #371
April 11, 2024

The House of Representatives will begin active debate on the FY 2025 budget during the week of April 22nd and we need your help in urging your State Representative to support Amendment #371 filed by Elder Affairs Committee Chairman Thomas Stanley. Amendment #371 would increase funding for nursing home care to allow the hiring of additional staff, increase wages for our existing staff, and fund care for our more medically complex patients. The House Ways and Means FY 24 budget proposal that was released on Wednesday recommends $50 million in additional funding for the upcoming rate year.

Please send an email today and ask your colleagues, residents, and family members to join this critical effort to support quality nursing facility care.
