  • 2022 National Skilled Nursing Care Week: “Creating and Nurturing Connections”, May 8-14
May 5, 2022

From May 8-14, 2022, National Skilled Nursing Care Week (NSNCW), formerly known as National Nursing Home Week, provides an opportunity to recognize the role of skilled nursing facilities in caring for our seniors and individuals with disabilities.

The 2022 NSNCW theme announced by AHCA is “Creating and Nurturing Connections.” Skilled nursing facilities and their staff provide a steadfast commitment to providing high-level of care for their residents. This has never been more evident than the last two years during the pandemic. In addition to protecting and caring for their residents around the clock during a time of limited visitation and social distancing, staff stepped in and served as family members and friends to ensure that residents had the essential social connections they needed.

Need activity ideas? Visit NSNCW.org to download promotional materials and the 2022 NSNCW Planning Guide.

Mass Senior Care will be highlighting events, activities and resident stories that are happening in our member facilities. Please share these with us by emailing Jennifer Chen at jchen@maseniorcare.org.
