Responsible and accountable for patient care on evening shift and assigned areas. The requirement for this position is a minimum 3 years of nursing experience; 1 year of supervisory experience; valid MA LPN/RN license. Some of the essential functions are:
• Monitors the progress of work assignment, both licensed and non-licensed
• Investigates and communicates with Unit Supervisors and Director problems related to patient care and/or personnel
• Evaluates care plans to ensure that needs arising on evenings are incorporated into care plans
• Assists staff with new admissions, readmissions and discharge paper work and communicate with family members and the social worker closely
• Attends supervisor’s meetings, patient care meetings and other meetings as needed
