October 9, 2025

The DPH is hosting a valuable webinar series, Preventing Wound Care Related Infections & Deaths in Long-Term Care Facilities. This series will provide important information on the epidemiology and pathophysiology of Group A Streptococcus (GAS), as well as key infection prevention and control practices that should be consistently applied – especially during wound care – to protect residents and prevent the spread of infection. There are two webinars left in the three-part series. Mass Senior Care strongly encourages all members to participate in this timely and informative program and would appreciate your feedback on the series.
