The Massachusetts Department of Public Health is continuing to offer monthly “Bug of the Month” webinars featuring HAI/AR pathogens of concern as well as infection control and response recommendations. Join us for our next webinar scheduled for Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm conducted in Partnership with Massachusetts Senior Care Association on Thursday, October 25th: "Infection Control and Response (ICAR) Assessments and Survey Process Findings in Massachusetts Long-term Care Facilities”. Featured speakers: Eileen McHale, RN, BSN, Healthcare-Associated Infections Coordinator, MDPH Bureau of Healthcare Safety and Quality and Helen Magliozzi, Director of Regulatory Affairs, Massachusetts Senior Care Association. The webinar will provide facilities with a description of gaps in infection prevention and control identified through the ICAR process and through the survey process. In addition, policies and procedures that require updating or enhancement will be reviewed. To register click here.
