  • DPH Training on New MDS Section S Questions: Opioid Use Disorder and Psychotropic Medications
September 21, 2023

DPH will host two virtual training sessions focused on the new MDS Section S questions, which pertain to state-specific items for Massachusetts long-term care facilities. These updates have been made to collect crucial information regarding Opioid Use Disorder and Psychotropic Medications, reflecting DPH’s commitment to enhancing resident care. These changes are scheduled to go live alongside other MDS updates on October 1, 2023. There is no cost to attend, and DPH encourages all relevant staff members to participate. If you have any questions or need further information, please do not hesitate to reach out to NursingHomeQI@mass.gov.
