2020 Updates on CMS Mandated Programs:

Program Description:
Now that the transition to PDPM is behind you, it’s time to refocus on the mandated programs from CMS. These programs have not gone away and continue to present opportunities and challenges for SNF providers. In fact, each year there are new changes. Come join us for a lively, interactive educational event where we will review the 2019 changes from CMS on Five Star, PBJ, QRP and VBP. During this workshop, we will offer insights and suggestions on how you can improve your facility’s performance.
Objectives:
At the conclusion of this seminar, participants will:
•Define 5 changes in the mandated programs impacting SNF providers in 2020;
•State three strategies which will result in improvement of performance within the mandated programs and other Requirements of Participation; and
•Incorporate the elements of QAPI into an outcome’s analysis using a VBP case study.

3.0 CEUs will be awarded for nurses and nursing home administrators. The Massachusetts Senior Care Association has qualified for “deemed status #NH-09015-007” from the Board of Registration of Nursing Home Administrators for Administrators. This program also meets continuing education requirements for Nurses in Massachusetts. All paid registrants will receive certificate of attendance.

Use the parking garage to the left of the building. Take a left in the garage to access the upper levels. There are ample handicapped parking spaces located directly in front of the building’s main entrance. Please do not park in marked reserved spaces.
