Seminar Description:

Skilled nursing facilities struggle with the cost of transportation for Medicare and Medicaid residents.  This seminar will address the legal requirements for SNFs to provide and pay the cost of transportation for Medicare, Medicaid and managed care payers.  We will outline the critical difference between covered ambulance transportation versus other forms of transportation.  In addition, we will address the Medicare and Medicaid regulatory requirements incumbent upon the SNF in offering, billing and collecting payment for various types of transportation.

•What transportation is bundled to the SNF under SNF consolidated billing.
